Beyond Baskets — A Foraged Fibre Art Workshop

I’m very excited for this one. Step outside tradition and into the realm of curiosity, material play, and pushing past the idea of what a basket or weaving should be.

There are no patterns to follow here. Just natural materials, and the quiet pleasure of shaping something with your hands. Together we’ll slow down, notice textures, follow natural curves, and discover how raw materials want to bend, twist, coil, or simply be.

Rather than completing one project we’ll make a few small pieces that will teach you the how- tos. We’ll look at some basic weaves, cordage, attaching pieces, looping, making frames and hoops, structure, tension, layering, and the expressive possibilities of raw, unprocessed materials that could  sit comfortably in a gallery or your home.

Perfect for beginners, makers, and anyone curious about natural materials and organic form.

Leave with a unique piece that goes far beyond a basket.

Weave a Harlequin Willow Tree

Ready to make something wildly unique? Create a living piece of garden art.

In this hands‑on willow weaving workshop, you’ll craft your own Harlequin willow tree — a beautifully structured, architectural form that brings sculptural elegance to any garden.

Across three hours, you’ll learn how to weave, shape, and bind young willow rods into the distinctive Harlequin pattern.

No experience needed. Just curiosity and good hand strength.

You’ll leave with your very own woven tree to plant, nurture, and watch grow.
